Our scope of works requires investigations in various areas. Recently we conducted a building inspection for a property manager to find the source of a mysterious stain that appeared in a property after a new tenant had moved in. The tenant was indicating mould was evident in the property however there was no sign of a building fault causing moisture. After thermal imaging and moisture meter testing a specialist ultraviolet test was conducted at night and it was found that the family pet was the cause. Specialist testing identified pet urine as the source of the moisture.
