Jetty Condition & Safety Generally jetties would be considered to be a specialist inspection under the Australian Standard for buildings, however a building inspection still covers the condition and safety aspect of structures within 30 meters on the property. Older jetties may require extensive works and some like this one are not deemed safe. Safety must be identified in the strongest possible manner and in this case instructions for barricading and Do Not Enter signage are mandatory to prevent potential injuries.
