Post Slab Inspection Construction Monitoring

As a quality control measure for Construction Monitoring service we offer our clients Post Slab Inspection Reports. The purpose of this is to ensure the concrete has been placed and finished correctly. This can identify inadequate work practices by the builder. The most common fault found in post slab inspections is inadequate compaction of concrete. This can reduce the strength of the slab and in cases such as the photo where rusting reinforcing is exposed can lead to concrete cancer developing in the future. Specialist engineers inspection and specified repairs are required. This comes in the format of Form 15 Aspect Certificate supplied by an engineer to specify repair methods and a Form 16 Aspect Certificate signing off after repairs are made and inspected.
